Recently, Kilminorth coordinated a shoot to showcase their unique charm - a setting where the rugged Cornish countryside meets refined, elegant styling. This shoot demonstrates that intimate weddings, even in a wild and rustic setting, can be as stunning and personalised as larger celebrations. Kilminorth welcomes weddings of all kinds, from a three-day extravaganza with up to 250 guests, to intimate elopements for two. With 32 acres of breathtaking grounds - including an orchard, wild meadows, lush woodland, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and 14 charming, dog-friendly cottages - Kilminorth offers countless possibilities for couples to tailor their wedding experience. Some cottages even feature hot tubs, making them the perfect relaxation spot with countryside views for guests.

Styling

The autumn-inspired styling made the most of Kilminorth’s wild meadows. The natural fibres and warm textures gave the decor an organic feel, while vibrant botanicals and seasonal details added sophistication and depth. Each element fused seamlessly with the meadow backdrop, showing couples just how beautiful a seasonal and nature-inspired wedding at Kilminorth can be.

Photography

Attire

Aga wore an elegant, boho-inspired gown from Prudence Gowns, that paired perfectly with the surroundings, while Shay’s mint suit from ASOS added a modern twist to the scene, contrasting beautifully with the rich blooms and Aga’s blush-toned gown.

Flowers

Escential Blooms adorned the wooden arch with wildflowers, framing the ceremony and creating a vibrant focal point. Simple yet striking centrepieces ran along the banquet table, setting a lively atmosphere, while Aga’s expressive bouquet added a touch of whimsy.

Cake

Peboryon crafted a delicate two-tier cake adorned with pressed flowers and finished with a soft pink ribbon. This simple yet elegant design was the perfect choice for the setting.

Hair and Makeup

Laura from Dollface MUA created a look inspired by 2023’s blush trend, adding natural touches to both Aga’s and Shay’s styles. Meg Terry styled Aga’s hair with boho-inspired curls and a braid, while Shay embraced a sleek, natural look accented with delicate pearls - a perfect contrast to the venue’s rustic beauty.

Stationery

Alba from This Is Alba Studio crafted a suite of autumnal stationery in bold pinks, yellows, and oranges, adding a pop of colour to the tablescape. Hand-crafted with care, these details brought the table to life and added a personal touch.
